Lobby exhibit available for viewing Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm,
and for the two hours preceding performances and film screenings.

This exhibition examines social justice in America through the eyes of Andre Rochester, a 39 year-old Black man and Pamela Pike Gordinier, a 76 year-old white woman.

Both artists challenge the status quo and believe that art is a tool for learning, healing, and a catalyst for change. Andre’s artwork comes from his personal lived experiences while Pam responds to historical events.

ANDRE ROCHESTER

is an artist, curator, and arts advocate from Hartford, CT. His work includes narratives of triumph over tribulation, analyses of social issues, pursuits, and exploration of joy. He enjoys art as a tool for meaningful engagement and collective growth. His work is also on display in a special exhibit at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT. PAMELA PIKE GORDINIER

is an artist, educator, and activist who uses her art for social change. Gordinier is an award-winning artist whose works are in several Fortune 500 collections. She has had numerous one-woman exhibitions and has been awarded memberships in the CT Academy of Fine Arts, Copley Society of Boston, CT Watercolor Society, and Mystic Museum of Art.
