The Garde Institute and Missoula Children's Theatre invite your child to participate in an unforgettable summer theater experience. Your child will take classes in acting, movement, stagecraft makeup, and participate as actors, singers, dancers, stagehands, assistant directors and pianists in an original large-cast musical.

A young princess named Show White finds herself in peril when her step-mother, Queen Bella, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she! Aided by her henchmen, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White. The princess escapes from with help from Witless the Woodsman and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When Queen Bella learns of her whereabouts, she attempts to poison Snow White! ButSnow White’s fearless Forest Friends, her father King Backwards, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Prince come to Snow White’s rescue!

While waiting for dinner, modern-day Hank and Gretchen fall asleep and dream their way to the wondrous Wildwood world of Hansel and Gretel. When they awaken, their clothes are so strange – and so are their names! Lost in the deep dark woods, Hansel and Gretel search for the path which will lead them home. But as evening approaches, Hansel and Gretel are not alone! Crafty cooks and Gingerbread Men lead our heroes to a colorful cottage made completely of candy, where Hansel and Gretel unravel the secret of the Wildwood Witch: Is she bad, or is she good? Is she wicked…Or misunderstood?


Registration is limited to students aged 7 to 18.
