On April 17, 2008, a sealed, Fed-Ex envelope containing a pre-recorded cassette tape, made by nationally acclaimed magician and illusionist Mike Super, predicting the headline in New London’s The Day newspaper for May 10 -- fully four weeks in advance!
Before a crowd of top city officials, security specialists, and community leaders, the prediction was sealed in additional envelopes and locked inside a newspaper vendor box, which was chained, locked, and hoisted by crane 40 feet to the top of the Garde Marquee, where it was secured and remains in public view until May 10, under 24 hour webcam surveillance.

At noon on May 10, the locked box will be lowered by DeSigns from its perch atop the historic Garde theater opened before a live audience. The prediction will then be read over an outdoor PA system.
