Ticket policy

All patrons, no matter age, must have a ticket to attend performances.


Online Tickets

You can purchase all available tickets 24 hours a day on the Garde’s secure website with MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. The Garde utilizes the highest level of state-of-art credit card and cyber security protocol including Point-to-Point Encryption. Click here to purchase tickets online.


Tickets in Person, by Phone, and through Mail

The Garde Box Office is located at the theatre entrance at 325 State Street, New London, CT 06320 at the corner of Huntington and State Streets. Regular Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Box Office is generally open 2 hours prior to performance and film times and remains open through intermission. The Box Office may be reached at 860-444-7373 ext 1.


Ticket Service Fees

Please note that minimal ticket service and delivery fees may be added to tickets purchased online, by phone and in person.


Garde Gift Cards

Garde Gift Cards make great gifts and are available year-round in various, whole dollar denominations online, by phone, and at the Box Office. Gift Cards are redeemable by phone and at the Box Office. Gift Cards are rechargeable online, by phone and in person. Garde Gift Cards are good toward the purchase of tickets for Garde-presented performances only (excludes ECSO and other Guest-presented performances). Some restrictions may apply. Group Discounts

Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more to most Garde presented events. Please call or come into the Garde Box Office 860-444-7373 ext 1 for details.


Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to the discretion of the Box Office policy. Some restrictions may apply. Fees will apply for exchanges. Tickets may not be exchanged until the Box Office receives or accepts the original tickets or a faxed copy of the voided tickets. Exchanges cannot be made within 48 hours of the scheduled performance date. When returning your tickets by mail, please remember to clearly indicate the performance to which you are changing.


Refunds

All ticket purchases are final. Refunds are not permitted.


Special Needs

If you or members of your party have special needs, such as wheelchair seating, listening enhancement devices, or any condition that would normally receive special accommodation, please let our box office staff know upon purchase of your tickets. Inclement Weather

To find out if a performance is canceled due to inclement weather, please check gardearts.org, the Garde Arts Center’s Facebook, Twitter, or theday.com. You can also call the Garde Box Office at 860-444-7373 x1. Garde policy is if the tour company and artists can make it to the theater and set-up for the performance, the performance will go on as scheduled and refunds are not available.


Third Party Ticket Purchase Warning

The Garde Arts Center is the ONLY AUTHORIZED ON-LINE TICKET SELLER for Garde events. Be wary of all internet ticket “resale marketplaces”, ticket brokers and secondary “third-party” ticket sellers. They often identify themselves by fine print that says, “we are a resale marketplace, not the ticket seller.” When you see an online ticket vendor selling tickets for a Garde event, we recommend not buying. Tickets purchased from these sources are often more expensive, invalid, and ineligible for assistance if the tickets are lost or stolen or if the event is canceled or rescheduled.

Ticket orders suspected to be in violation of the Garde’s Third Party Ticket Purchases policy will be voided and canceled without advance notice. Additionally, we reserve the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that we determine to be, or has been, in violation of our policies. Because we do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any non-authorized third party reseller (such as brokers or individuals), we recommend that you purchase tickets directly through the Garde Arts Center website (www.gardearts.org), or by contacting the Garde Box Office, to ensure ticket authenticity.
