Stage Talk with Rick Koster

Where every show has something to say.

Here at the lovely and historical Garde Arts Center, we have a dedicated and skilled cleaning crew.

That way, YOU don’t have to worry if things get a bit out of hand when, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, we host a 50th anniversary screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” — complete with shadowcast by RKO Army.

Yes: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is rife with songs, camp, outrage and wit that have inspired cultish and costumed audience participation for all the gleefully right reasons. Throw in the live-action exuberance of RKO Army’s raucous replicators – and, well, we’re confident your personal Enjoyment Quotient will burst like an appendix.

Each ticket also includes a lovingly assembled Prop Bag to further your enjoyment. Included will be such necessities as a newspaper (Janet’s cheap Rain Coat), a Transylvania Noisemaker, toilet paper (Dr. Scott!), a glove (you KNOW what that’s for), a party hat, a cardboard hotdog – er, frankfurter, and more.

Whether this is your umpteenth “Rocky Horror” experience or your first time, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” Garde-style, is what Fun is all about.
