Flock Theater

Garde partner and tenant, the Flock Theater, has kept theater alive even when no theater can be open.  The Garde is happy to offer the use of its empty facilities for video location for their streamed productions,

Make We Joy is an annual multi-cultural tradition centered around the shortest day of the year. Started in 1981, the festival draws audiences from throughout New England and has been featured in many publications as one of the premiere New England holiday traditions. Now produced by Flock Theatre at Mitchell College,  the performance is a large pageant that includes folk dance, poetry, choral music, ritual, and more to celebrate the shortest day.

Flock Theatre presents a new Zoom adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel Jane Eyre, which uniquely supplements live-action performances with shadow puppetry.
