Allman Brothers Band co-founder, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and Grammy-winner Dickey Betts has one of the most distinctive voices in music today. Along with his band Great Southern, Betts is an innovator of Americana music and Southern Rock. Says the New York Times, “[Betts is] one of the great rock guitarists…[when] Mr. Betts was tearing into one of his improvisations, the music was about as exciting as rock and roll gets."

Dickey Betts wrote some of the Allman Brothers Band's greatest musical triumphs, including 'Ramblin’ Man', 'Blue Sky,' 'In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,' 'Southbound,' and 'Jessica'. An innovator of Americana Music, he has created some of his finest music since leaving the Allmans in 2001, first on his acclaimed recording Let’s Get Together and on his most recent release, The Collectors #1, which reunites him with original Great Southern and one-time Allman Brothers Band member 'Dangerous' Dan Toler. The Garde appearance shows off Betts' range, including jazz, blues, western swing, Celtic, and more than a little good old rock and roll.
